Got questions on navigating the NCEI archival process? Jump on the road with us as we take you through an archiving road trip. This session will provide information on NCEI archival services, when to engage us in your projects and how to prepare your data for long term preservation. It will introduce data archiving principles such as appraisals (what do I archive), metadata (documentation), and data preparation as well as present available tools and guidance to help you through the process. The workshop will be presented by NCEI data managers and archive and metadata specialists.

This workshop aims to guide the data manager or scientist planning future archiving activities and for those who need a refresher course on the process. Please take a quick moment to complete our short  Workshop Registration Form to let us know if you are going to join us on our 'road trip' as we break down navigating the archive process with you.
