Session Chair: Ken Casey

Since last year’s cloud session, NESDIS has operationalized key components of its enterprise NESDIS Common Cloud Framework (NCCF) and piloted numerous new capabilities. It has also launched an enterprise cloud transformation effort, to address the people and process transformations that must be coupled with these technology transformations in order to successfully become a “cloud optimized organization”. This session will review the progress made to date, highlight key achievements and milestones, and solicit feedback from the broader NOAA data management community on both near-term and longer-term directions.
